Selected Project Experience

Consumer Product Safety and Stewardship: Evaluated exposures in consumer and industrial products under regulatory frameworks administered by FDA, CPSC, and state agencies. Work supported compliance strategies, product reformulations, and defense against alleged regulatory violations

Proposition 65 Evaluations: Conducted hundreds of product safety evaluations under California’s Proposition 65, spanning foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements, kitchenware, appliances, and industrial coatings. Work included exposure modeling, development of MADLs and NSRLs, label obligation determinations, and naturally occurring chemical defenses

PFAS Regulatory and Compliance Support: Supported regulatory and litigation matters involving PFAS by evaluating exposures from biosolids, drinking water, and consumer products. Developed Proposition 65 warning levels for PFOA and PFOS, reviewed state Notification Levels, and prepared technical comments on regulatory proposals

Risk-Based Cleanup and Remediation Standards: Supported the development of site-specific remediation goals in collaboration with agencies such as EPA and DTSC. Examples include Brownfield redevelopment projects, pesticide manufacturing sites, manufactured gas plants, and petroleum spill sites.
